4me was founded in 2010 when Cor Winkler Prins (CEO), Laurens Pit (CTO) and Mathijs Sterk (Chief Software Architect) decided to address the need for a next-generation Service Management solution through an innovative architecture. The new architecture enables companies and their suppliers to work together seamlessly and securely, without costly integrations. While providing real-time insight into the quality of the services being delivered.

4me®: The Enterprise Service Management solution supporting SIAM and ITIL processes

The new Service Management solution became 4me®: the first Enterprise Service Management solution specifically built to support SIAM (Service Integration and Management), a feature that creates the opportunity for both internal and external service providers to collaborate while keeping track of their SLAs. Originally released in 2012, it has since grown to support not only the ITIL processes and SIAM but also KCS-based knowledge management, time accounting and Earned Value Management (EVM) for project and portfolio management.

The name 4me was chosen to emphasize the fact that the 4me portal dynamically adapts to give each employee a personalized experience. When employees have questions, are confronted with an incident or need to order something, they simply go to 4me. Since its initial release, 4me has seen rapid growth, with over 3.6 million employees already relying on 4me's self-service capabilities when they need help from any of their support domains such as HR, IT, Procurement or Facilities Management.
