Welcome, Viktor Edman!
We are pleased to welcome Viktor Edman to Synerity, where he will take on the role of solutions consultant.
Viktor is a passionate computer and IT enthusiast with a broad technical background spanning support, data management, programming, operations, and systems integration. He is driven by solving complex problems, developing smart solutions, and helping businesses operate more efficiently—qualities that make him a valuable addition to our team.
What is your professional background?
– I started out in technical support for consumer electronics, where I worked with products such as smart lighting, robotic lawn mowers, and computer monitors. I then moved on to a SaaS company in the e-commerce sector, where I provided technical support while also developing customizations for e-commerce platforms. This could involve anything from simple design adjustments, such as changing the color of a button, to developing custom order fields for products sold by the square meter.
– In recent years, I’ve worked at Mer Group, first as an operations coordinator and then as an integration developer. There, I built dashboards to provide an overview of the support workflow—from trouble ticket submission to resolution—and developed automation tools that, in some cases, could identify and resolve network issues at charging stations before a ticket was even logged.
Why Synerity, why now, and what are your expectations?
– What drives me most in my career is constantly learning new things and creating real value for the businesses I work with. Synerity feels like an exciting opportunity because the consulting role involves working with many different organizations, industries, and challenges. I look forward to helping clients improve areas where efficient processes really make a difference, such as case management, asset management, and operational support.
– I’m looking for an environment where I can continue to develop my technical skills while using my experience to help customers find smart and sustainable solutions.
How do you hope to contribute to the organization?
– My greatest strength is probably the combination of broad experience and technical problem-solving skills. I have worked closely with consumers, corporate clients, and field technicians, which has given me an understanding of different perspectives and needs, as well as the ability to analyze complex problems. This allows me to contribute both by understanding the business and by translating that understanding into practical technical solutions. I hope to be a versatile, curious, and reliable consultant who can quickly create value for both Synerity and its customers.
How do you prefer to spend your free time?
– In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and playing all kinds of games—everything from board and card games to video games. My kids also keep me active, so we often take the cargo bike around Helsingborg to visit playgrounds, stop by to see my brothers, or meet up with my kids’ friends. It’s an easy way for us to spend time together and explore the city.
