Welcome, Marcus Hallbjörner
We are pleased to welcome Marcus Hallbjörner as a new solutions consultant on our Halo team. With a background ranging from IT security and international teams to the fast-paced product development of the startup world, he now joins Synerity a drive to create real value in practice. Marcus looks forward to combining his experience from both large organizations and smaller companies to contribute in an environment where technology, processes, and business converge.
What is your professional background?
I began my IT career in Volvo IT’s delivery and support operations for the City of Stockholm. This quickly evolved into a focus on IT security and several years with the malware team, first as a technician and later as the team leader for an international team. Since then, I have held various roles in administration, service ownership, and project management, primarily within ITSM processes and tools. In recent years, I have focused on product development and led a small startup that delivered a SaaS solution.
Why Synerity, why now, and what are your expectations?
For the past few years, I’ve been working at a small startup, and it was time to set my sights on something new. I’ve worked with several of the products Synerity on, and I’ve always enjoyed working in the ITSM field. So when we started talking a bit about where Synerity headed, it felt like a really good fit! I’m looking forward to great projects and relationships, and I hope we can leverage each other’s strengths to deliver real value—not just on paper.
How do you hope to contribute to the organization?
My goal is to bring my experience from both large organizations and the startup scene to Synerity, combining the best of both worlds. I thrive in both technical and process-oriented work, and I believe this aligns well with our mission.
How do you like to spend your free time?
Most of my time is spent either with my two dogs or trying to avoid bogeys on the disc golf course. If the weather isn’t on my side, I usually end up coding on one of my little hobby projects.
